The SRI Research Networks

During 2024, SRI-Rice at Cornell University embarked on a joint venture with the NGO IndoSRInet and faculty from Padjdadjaran Unviersity in Indonesia to create a new SRI Global Research Network which includes a database of primarily refereed SRI research items listed in Scopus and/or Web of Science. The Network also sponsors a SRI Global Research Newsletter. A new management team with partners in Africa, Asia and the Americas will be joining the new Network formally in May 2024. SRI-Rice previously sponsored a System of Rice Intensification (SRI) Research Network (which has now merged with the SRI Global Research Network), and continues to provide access to the associated original comprehensive group library on Zotero, which will now serve as an archive of people around the world carrying out SRI research and evaluations in both small and large institutions (most of which are located in the Global South).
Those who subscribe to the SRI database of refereed resarch on Zotero can read (and often download) research papers from the group's general and subject-matter databases.You do not need to be actively involved in research to join the Network - anyone with a healthy interest in SRI can be a database subscriber! [To sign up for the SRI Research Network library, 1) go to Zotero website, 2) put in your personal information and 3) search for the SRI Global Research Network. The complete SRI research archive on Zotero, which can be sorted via country tags, can still be accessed here and includes additional theses, research reports, and unpublished documents.)
